The Vanaria Family in Papua New Guinea

How You Can Help

Prayer is the foundation, and for many of us, the most difficult task in supporting a ministry.  When we pray, however, we are as present to the situation as the missionary and the people for whom we are praying because we are speaking to our Omnipresent Father.  Wonderful, powerful, and absolutely necessary! A friend once said, "We have the priviledge to go into the throne room of the King of Kings and yet for some reason we can't seem to find the time".  Only prayer will bring lasting change in the hearts of men and women.

Contacts:After many years overseas we need your help in connecting new churches and new people with the needs of the Mesem people.  If you know someone who is interested, or if your church would be interested, please help us by putting us in contact with those who the Lord is raising up to complete this work.

Financial contributions make it possible for us to continue working with the Mesem people and supporting various ministries among them.

An Encounter to Remember

HUNGARY:  More than 500 university students, campus ministry leaders and missionaries from 32 nations gathered at a former communist training camp July 31-August 8 for Budapest Encounter. The conference was organized to help students connect with God and be empowered for ministry.

Several participants were baptized in the Holy Spirit and sensed God speaking to them. “Many students testified of God’s call to ministry and missions,” says missionary Kirk Priest, who spearheaded the gathering.

Ramadan Prayer Guide

We are in the last full week of Ramadan. It will come to an end somewhere between the 8th and 10th of September depending on the sighting of the moon. Ramadan will end with a two-day celebration called “Eid Al-Fitr.” “Eid” is the Arabic word for “festivity” and “Al-Fitr” carries the idea of “to purify.” Thus, “Eid Al-Fitr” is the Festival of Purification.

Please pray with us that people of this religious persuasion around the world will come to the knowledge that only the blood of Jesus can purify them from their sins.
